1. Is this compatible with my device?

The Sidekick HX was designed primarily for use with the Line6 HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL. However, it will work with any Line6 device that requires a TRS dual switch. It will also work with any device that uses a TRS dual switch with Normally Closed (NC) momentary switches.

2. What material is it made of?

It is made of reinforced industrial resin. It is very light but very strong and is made from the same material used to make race cars and speedboats.

3. How do the LEDs/lights work? Can you control/assign colors for the lights?

The lights are by default Red and Blue and momentarily change color when pressed (Red becomes Blue and Blue becomes Red). The colors are fixed and cannot be controlled.

4. Does it need power?

It uses a 9V center negative PSU or the standard PSUs used for most guitar pedals. That said, it will work without a power supply, just with no LED lights.

5. How do you use it/How is it connected?

It uses a ¼ inch TRS cable (sold separately) to function. To program the functions, please consult your pedal’s manual. It can function as an additional FS, Tap/Tempo, Bank up and down etc depending on your device’s capabilities.
